Raw Walking: Why Everyone’s Talking About It

A no-tech ritual with surprising benefits for your mind, body, and nervous system.

The view from my “Raw Walk” this morning…

📍 Just a quick check-in from Montreal to say hello and share a term I heard on a podcast I was listening to yesterday on the plane:

🌿 “Raw Walking”

Apparently, Gen Z is calling it that when you walk without headphones, music, or your phone—just you, your thoughts, and the real world.
No podcast. No playlist. No distractions.

Sound familiar? It’s something we’ve been doing here at RoamWell in our own way—slowing down to reset and reconnect.

Raw walking is a simple (but powerful) ritual to regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and tune back into your body. It’s not about steps or stats. It’s about presence.
Feeling your feet on the ground.
Taking in your surroundings.
Breathing deeply.

In a world that’s always buzzing, this kind of silence? It’s a gift.
A chance to disconnect… so you can reconnect. ✨

How many times a week do you “raw walk”?

🧳 P.S. Your Travel Wellness Toolkit is on its way!

Between plane delays and choppy Wi-Fi, the universe had other plans for getting that out to you 😅
But it’s coming soon—so stay tuned 💌

with love - always
