Over the weekend we hosted our Welcome to Calgary Pizza Party—and let me tell you, it was a blast. Good friends, lots of laughs, pies fresh from the oven, and my signature welcome cocktail: a Paloma.

I believe balance is non-negotiable. Yes, I love my lemon water and red light mornings. But there’s also a place for pizza, sparkling brut, and late-night laughter.

Spending time with friends creates bonds that keep us well in ways science is still catching up on. (Strong social ties can lower stress, improve immunity, and even add years to your life!)

🍹 Paloma Recipe (my welcome cocktail):

• 1.5 oz Don Julio Reposado

• 0.5 oz Triple Sec

• 1 oz grapefruit juice

• 0.5 oz simple syrup

• 0.5 oz lime juice

Shake over ice. Empty into a rocks glass. Top with sparkling water. Sip, smile, repeat.
